General Crafting Tools

  • Gwybkq cutting mats** - off branded mats are a better value and work just as well. however some users with the Maker/Explore 3 say that the mat sensor will sometimes measure them incorrectly (we have yet to experience this)

  • HTVront cutting mats

  • official cutting mats - PRO TIP: if you want to stay with cricut brand mats buy the bulk packs from Joann, Michaels or Cricut.com when they have the 40-50% off sales

  • off brand cutting blades** - We like using these for paper projects

  • premium fine point blades** - We prefer these for vinyl projects (if you check amazon regularly, the 10 pack often drops below $30 which is a good deal) Make sure its the one with the white cap!

  • blade and tool housings - I haven’t found off brand ones that I like. This is definitely a wait for the 40-50% off sales

  • Craverland Universal Pen Adapter - Cricut pens are trash, use whatever you want with this, (I prefer the adapter set below to the Universal adapter because the Universal one can sometimes become loose and back out during the draw)

  • Craverland Pen Adapter Set** - If you prefer not to mess around with the adapter settings, this kit has adapters for 40 different styles of pens.

  • cricut legs** - cannot recommend these enough for added desk space!

  • mat holder**: (super helpful to prevent your mat from bending)

  • weeding tools**: - i've used dozens of different tools, these are my absolute favorite (PRO TIP: wait until michaels has a good coupon, i bought a few sets when they were 40% off)

  • brayer** - for securing your material to the cutting mat (this is soooo important and a lot of people skip this step) call me basic but I actually quite like the feel of the cricut one

  • sticky lint roller**

Small Business Tools

  • Thermal Label Printer

  • Shipping Scale

  • Shipping Supplies - PaperMart is a far better business to shop from than ULINE (PRO TIP: sign up for their newsletter they often give a flat rate or a free shipping code, without that code shipping can cost more than your order!!)
